The Kitchenware News & Housewares Review circulation staff and Oser Communications Group show logistics team are in Chicago this weekend for the International Home + Housewares Show. Distribution at each show is different, depending on show rules, local ordinances, and agreements with show management, but here at IH+HS, Kitchenware News & Housewares Review Show Daily is being handed out in the concourses at McCormick Place as well as in the show’s official hotels as well as in the show’s publication bins throughout the convention center. All told, thousands and thousands of copies of Kitchenware News & Housewares Review are handed out each day by our show logistics team, reinforced by a squad of Chicagoans glad of the extra work and by dozens of hotel bellmen around the city.
The excitement here in Las Vegas is palpable as the consumer electronics industry gathers for what is at the same time a commercial marketplace in which deals for millions and millions of dollars worth of electronics products will be struck over the course of the next five days and also a celebration of how this industry and its technology contribute to the lives and well-being of people around the globe. The show opens at 10 a.m. today, and although this year’s show is spread over more of Las Vegas than ever before, the Las Vegas Convention Center is still its hub. With 2 million square feet of exhibit space and another quarter of a million square feet of meeting room space that will be used for conference sessions plus the acreage outside the center that’s been tented and pressed into service to provide space for additional exhibits, the convention center alone presents a lot of ground to walk over in search of what’s new and exciting in the consumer electronics world. On top of that, several nearby hotels’ convention and conference facilities are also hosting exhibits, so it’s definitely a full-time job over the next few days to try to see everything there is to see. We’d hate to miss any of it.
The Oser Communications Group team is here in force to make sure that each of the attendees, who are expected to number well over 100,000, gets a copy of Consumer Electronics Daily News, an outstanding guide to what’s most interesting here at the 2015 International CES. And for your pleasure, here’s a look at the January 6 issue, in which you can share the experience even if you aren’t here in Las Vegas. Behold!
Here are some quick tips for writing marketing copy that will start your sales conversation with prospective buyers even before they reach your trade show booth.
